Guest guest
Sherry,It is best to research them a bit. Some people use monolaurin -- I'm sure you have seen the recent posts. Oil of oregano you need to start out at 1 - 2 drops and build up to 2-3 drops 3 x a day usually but there might be something specific for mono or viruses in general -- we are using it as a cold 'stopper' and for yeast. I'm still looking into Olive Leaf extract so I am unclear about dosages on that. You might also look for Manuka honey that has UMF (unique manuka factor) rating of at least 16 + 1-2 teaspoons 1/2 before meals .Hope he is doing betterAmeliaTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Mon, May 24, 2010 4:14:58 AMSubject: OT-Re:son with mono-Amelia and Thank you both for your support and suggestions. I have not used those kinds of natural healers before. Is there a dose for each that would be self-explanatory right on the bottles? Is there a chance of a reaction or side effects that could be a problem? He seems a bit better today, but still quite tired and very sore throat. I'm sorry you had to go through this Amelia and your son as well . It's a nasty, nasty virus.Sherry
