Guest guest
I finally spoke to my holistic doctor. He emphasized that the Master Cleanse is not the right move. He wants my GI track to heal and will be starting me on some kind of super aloe. My western doctor wants to do a colonoscopy. I haven’t decided if I’m going to do that. I would agree NOTHING violent. My husband recommends the master cleanse as a solution to all my problems. I am reluctant. Does anyone have any comments? I'm sure your husband wants a nice, quick fix for you. I don't know about this particular one, but I would caution anyone considering these cleanses or fasts that you need to be basically young and healthy to withstand them. Most of us are on the fragile side and especially our guts. Do we really want violent anything? I know I don't.
Guest guest
, aloe isn't legal. Can he suggest something else or just try scd a while longer? Guest guest
Thank you for your insight. I realized it was NOT legal, but I’m uncertain as to why. This particular super aloe has been credited with healing cancer and digestive disorders of all types. Are you familiar with Bob Marshall’s PRL? I’m willing to give it a try. I’ve only had this condition for 6 weeks…so, you’re right I may need to the SCD longer. From: BTVC-SCD [mailto:BTVC-SCD ] On Behalf Of kplatt@... Good for him. He wants my GI track to heal and will be starting me on some kind of super aloe. If he wants your gut to heal, he won't give you aloe vera. Aloe vera is not SCD-legal. My western doctor wants to do a colonoscopy. I haven’t decided if I’m going to do that. Colonoscopies are not fun. Or, more correctly, I found the procedure to me nothing at all. It was the prep for the colonoscopy that was very difficult. It's not a bad idea to determine that there isn't something else going on in there. I would agree NOTHING violent. While I agree with this, in general, sometimes things like surgery are necessary, as in the case of my uterine cancer, or strictures. Guest guest
SCD cannot heal strictures, but it can help make sure you won't get them again. How does SCD prevent strictures? I don't think I've seen the subject come up before. I have one right at the juncture on the right hip just to the right of the bellybutton. Actually over and down--kind of hard to ...and you know, it hasn't bothered me in a long time (knock on wood). Is it the type of food or what? Thanks, Debbie 41 cd

By preventing the inflammation and ulceration, SCD prevents further strictures. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
