Guest guest
Hi Ellen, I am so glad you have hospice. They are wonderful. I do not hesitate to use any and all drugs given me IF NEEDED. Sounds like you had a few scary days.. I am truly sorry. It is sometimes just not fair but then I say 'Why NOT me " ???? I do stay pretty up beat and don't have many down times. sometimes I think something must be wrong with me when I am ask by so many what I take to help me.. the most important thing in my life is my faith in God, I do have peace and strength to go through this battle. I too know we will have a great Christmas. I hope the BEST EVER for you. Oh yes I wanted to comment on who, where, when.. I go with the help of my husband EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE i want. He is very good to load the car with tanks and take me out shopping ( not so much anymore) or anywhere I want to go. I have a wheelchair that holds a tank on the back and a double tank cart (Thank You Beth) So I can be gone about three hours with that.. I call the shots in my life.. I wouldn't know anything else.. I am so stinking independent. poor . but he loves me so we work it out. I'm sorry I am rambling.. Much Love, Peggy Florida, IPF 2004 > > > Peggy, > > A week ago Wed 4 Nov I ended up in the OSU ER again. my Satch was 38, when I think of it I don't know how I made that, but I did. They did get my satch up, flew me to a room, with 3 IV's, no veins would cooperate but they got them by gum, believe me I am not complaining, they saved my life. I made the decision - no more Chemo. Hopsice stepped in and that was all she wrote. Wonderful, Wonderul , I can't say that enough. I feel 100% better, I am breathing better and I have the best damn drugs you will find out about from you Hospice. Please make sure you take the med's, they are not there to keep you drugged, they are there to keep you confortable with your breathing, since I was in the hospital they started me on a routine hoping it would work on me. It did, so I was able to go home and be cared for here and not some ficility. Peggy, you will feel so much better, please do everything they suggest. I will be thinking about you, please do not hesitate to ask me anything, I am open to discussion on anything you wan't to discuss. I say.............. you and I are going to have a very merry Christmas. > > Prays are in my heart for you. > > ellen >

Guest guest
Hi Peggy, Have a great time at the Christmas cantata. You will probably want to sing as I always do but singing just gives you SOB. Anyway I just lip synch silently and I feel like I'm participating- never did have a good voice to begin with so that will be pleasant for everyone else-LOL! nne 56, fibrotic NSIP 6/09, MCTD 11/09 > > > > Hi Group, Well the hospice Dr. came to see me today. Guest guest
Peggy, Yes...my vertigo has left!!!! The physical therapist showed me techniques to calm it down in case it comes again. They will make it easier for me to be able to be driven to therapy without feeling so awful. I'm in the midst of changing the email provider on this computer. In the process I've lost my address book and had to redo the signature. My son Adam will be here this week to fix it all. He's my only tech..now that and Kurt are divorcing! Anyway I can still be on board ...just not used to the different configuration of the email. They say you should try to learn something new each day...in the past three days I've learned enough for a month!
