experiences at Shands hospital

Hi yall,

We are still in ton but plan to spend some of this winter (Feb-Apr) in

the Spring Hill area of western Florida. We plan to use the area as a base from

which to make several short trips as we try to determine whether Florida would

be a feasible area for us to live from this point forward. A great share of our

decision would be based on the type of care provided IPF patients as myself. We

currently frequent an IPF being Center of Excellence here in ton but are

interested in hearing any experiences those on this forum may have had at either

the Shands Hospital in Gainesville or the Mayo Clinic of ville. It would

also help if those of you who do frequent these facilities could let us know how

far you must drive to receive treatments. We are interested in finding a 55+

older manufactured home park with lots of activities so if any of you know any

such facilities in close proximity to these hospitals, it would be greatly

appreciated.
