He is booked thru November at the moment from what I've heard from others. I did what you are proposing...I sent him an email with all my info and explained the situation. He sent me a bunch of attachments with information on what he does, etc. He may not give you a date yet but can pencil you in for Jan. You can get ahold of him by email...its > > abaltasar@... You're doing great. You might have better luck with United...I see they get covered alot in my area! Guest guest
AJ, Aw ... shucks ) I need your opinion on something ... Here's my current 'plan': 1) Fight Cigna till the end of the year 2) Switch to United Healthcare at the end of November if it appears I can't beat Cigna (***argh***) 3) Submit all paperwork to UHC JANUARY 1ST!!!! (They said I'd have an answer within 2 weeks) 4) If they deny, even once, call Dr. Hess and let him know I can't make it work and head on to my 2nd choice surgeon ... Dr. Baltasar. I was wondering if you think I should contact Dr. Baltasar now. I would, of course, tell him my above plan, and ask that he review my history to ensure he would want me as a patient, and then set up a tentative surgery date for the last of January. I guess the main reason I am thinking I should do this is so that if/when I get completey denied to death, I won't then have to turn around and wait many many weeks before I could even get a date with Dr. Baltasar. If you think this is a good way to approach it, then how exactly do I get in contact with the good Doctor?? Thanks so much for listening, AJ, Donna >Donna...you're such a sweetie!
