Guest guest
I don't know if parafin is ok or not, but here's my buckeye recipe and it doesn't call for it. Buckeye's 1 1/2 cups peanut butter 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar 1/2 cup CF margarine 1 tsp. vanilla Melted chocolate chips Mix all except chocolate until semi-dry and crumbly. ( I use a food processor) Shape into 1/2 in balls. Dip in melted chocolate, leaving the " eye " . Place on wax paper and chill til set. Hope this helps, April parafin wax > would parafin wax be gfcf???? I thought I would make some buck eye candy{converted recipe} but it calls for the wax and I am not really sure if it is gf or not. lIsa f > > >
Guest guest
I made some Halloween candy replacements, but the chocolate (melted Sam's Choice semi-sweet choc chips in the microwave) seemed too thick for dipping. Any suggestions? Janette

Guest guest
When I make my own chocolate bunnies and such, I add a tablespoon or more of coconut oil or gfcf margarine per cup of chocolate chips. Coconut oil melts at 74 degrees F so makes chocolate thinner at that temperature or warmer.
