Guest guest
Sher, Whether or not GERD causes pulmonary fibrosis is still up in the air. We know it can make existing fibrosis worse. But Sjorgren's and other auto-immune diseases are known to cause pulmonary fibrosis. My dermatomyositis is another example of this. Sometimes the pulmonary fibrosis is diagnosed first but that doesn't mean it started first. Auto-immune disease can exist for many many years before it is accurately diagnosed. Mine was diagnosed 2 years after my pf but I can now trace symptoms of the dermatomyositis all the way back to 1999 or so. Guest guest
Wow, all the info makes my head swim. I guess there really is no need for me to start a new search on the NSIP Dr Raghu dx. When his requested tests are completed we will have a definite answer to what is now simply question. Thanks. MamaSher; 71, IPF 3-2006, OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there!
