My older son has been having a problem with his penis itching. He's been

off all supplements other than yeast treatements (Kirkman's yeast

control, pro-culture gold, and flagyl). He's been itching for a couple

of weeks. I've been using All Free & Clear laundry detergent and putting

cornstarch in his underpants, which has helped a little. Could this be

yeast die off or yeast overgrowth or something else?

He does indeed adjust himself frequently because he says he's only

comfortable when his private parts are in a particular position. His

teacher has been on him for constantly having his hands in his pants.

Now that you mention it, he has been eating more candy than usual. Today

hasn't been too bad, but he hasn't had any yeast medication because his

stomach has been upset and I didn't want to give him anything to irritate

it.

I think it's time to call his DAN doctor and see what we can do next.
