I just am so very sad and heart broken. we will miss her. i was frustrated with my new lap top's keyboard too

kept hitting wrong something by mistake and the post would disappear in the middle of typing it

very, very frustrating!!!

then one day while exploring the icons on the bottom, i found one that said "Desktop Touchpad"

of course I opened it up and explored what is in it, Voila!!!

"Desktop Device Buttons"

opened that up and there is a check box to "disable the touchpad/pointing stick when external USB mouse is present"

since checking that box, my problem is gone

Sher, I hate this laptop. I keep typing long posts and they disappear into cyberspace before I get to send them. So I will just say that I was depressed and scared and thinking that no one cared.
