Guest guest
I don't know if it was this or another list that was talking about Trader Joes but I was just at their web site and they have a gluten free list. http://www.traderjoes.com/tj/products/
Guest guest
Hi, Stacey, I get the roasted red and yellow peppers in the glass jar. Don't get the all red roasted peppers because they have an illegal ingredient. I think they may have some legal kalamata olives, can't remember exactly. They have prosciutto and medjool dates. Also, the Trader Joe brand refrigerated dill pickles were legal when I used to buy them. There are some fruit leathers made from just fruit. Be sure not to get the ones that are made from fruit concentrate. Trader Joe's has good prices on cheeses with no BGH, if that interests you, cage-free eggs, frozen fruits and vegetables, organic chicken drumsticks, raisins, nuts. I would avoid the mixed nuts; I've had a lot of problems with some of the nuts in the mix being rancid from the day I open them. , mom to > > I am planning a road trip to Trader Joes
Guest guest
I also get my almond butters from trader joe's, frozen salmon burgers and shrimp as well as canned tuna and salmon, lara bars, if tolerated. They also have lots of fresh meats. Hi, Stacey, I get the roasted red and yellow peppers in the glass jar. Don't get the all red roasted peppers because they have an illegal ingredient. Guest guest
As soon as I hit send, I remembered 2 other things: Medjool Dates Organic fresh fruit - I just bought strawberries and purple grapes for not much more then I pay for conventional. The strawberries are THE best I've ever eaten. I don't know about the grapes though, those were for my bird (she gulps them down, so I guess they're tasty). They had peaches at a great price too, but I didn't get any of those. Guest guest
i do a tonnnn of shopping at TJ's. they have great chickens (no antibiotics, free range) at a great price... I always have the bacon(applewood smoked).... they have awesome dried fruit... they also do "just almond meal" in bags (cheap!) that has been my "breading" for fried chicken, and has stood in for almond flour on numerous occasions.... i also always have their juices (just cherry, just blueberry and the concord grape) to use in jello the coconut milk in cans in fantastic (check label but mine was legal) i have the green pesto as well as sun dried tomato pesto- they are ostensibly legal and i've never had an issue.... also, they have good prices for pre-sliced havarti, and almost every other legal cheese..... i just wishhhh we could get tj's to send a letter that could verify if their mayo was legal- it is amaaing and it seems almost legal except for.... we don't know what "spices" are added... i think i'd like to press them for an answer, it would be soooooo fantastic! Guest guest
It's so good, I can eat a slice of butter by itself just to savor the flavor :-). And to bring the bird back into this ;-), once she tasted Kerrygold on her vegetables, she wouldn't got back to regular butter. Turned up her little beak! Guest guest
Fish oil pills. I have both salmon and another kind that has anchovies and sardines in it (I think that one is called Omega 3 Fatty Acids). I usually order different brands online, but I ran out earlier then I predicted, and it's just too hot here in Arizona to get stuff in the mail right now. I figured it was a good time to try out Trader Joe's brands :-). Speaking of the heat, I also underestimated how much yogurt starter I'd need to get through the summer. We had a weird cool spell (highs in the 80's) and went ahead and ordered, but dang, it didn't ship until the heat returned! I'll be getting a bunch of Yogourmet in 110 degree heat tomorrow. Hope it's still alive :-(. Guest guest
You'll have to look at the ingredients. TJ's has one vanilla with sugar, and one without (the legal one).
