Topics of greatest interest this year include: Cardiovascular Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Migrant Health Research Cultural Competency Folk Medicine Occupational Safety and Health Educational Material Development Health Literacy Public Speaking Techniques Employee Retention HIV/AIDS, STDs, TB Substance Abuse End of Life Issues (Hospice Care/Cancer) Mental Health UDS – use of data for Program Planning Also of interest: Adult Learning Emergency Preparedness Managing Multiple Priorities Board Governance Grant Writing Men’s and Women’s Health Diabetes, Nutrition, Obesity Group Meeting Dynamics Oral Health/Dental All abstract proposals should address the topic in relation to the healthcare needs of the migrant and seasonal farmworker population.
