Hi everyone!

Sorry to be responding so late, but we too are in the middle of an

appeal process with UHC. We were also denied because of the

exclusion of orthotic devices that straighten or reshape a body

part. However, we have not been able to find this language anywhere -

the HR department at my husband's company is trying to help us out.

I was told by our Orthotist that it can help to get HR involved

because UHC may not want to upset a major client.

I will keep you posted on our progress - please continue to let all

of us know what each of you find out as well. Someone has to be able

to get through to UHC!!!!!
