I'm NOT going to be pioneer

Well, you ALL know that my surgeon, is going to be

switching to the Scopinaro version of the DS... which is actually the

originial BPD, with out the DS... When she explained all of this to

me on Thursday and Friday and my pre-op appointments, I understood

her arguments, but my gut isn't comfortable with this.

I've put off posting for awhile, cause well number one, my a$$ho!e

REALLY hurts from all this $h!t for BOWEL PREP AND number two...

I've been baraged with messages about the recent change... and have

been trying to answer some.

I've thought through some things... and I am NOT comfortable being

the pioneer. I've read the advantages and disadvantages of both

versions... and I see the benefit in both of them, but I just don't

get the right feeling with this Scorpinaro thing.

I called the answering service and got through to the on call

doctor... who assured me that I'll get to talk to Dr. P before

surgery, so I'll be able to tell her that... that over the weekend,

I've done more research and I'd prefer to stick with what I

originally planned... that would be the bpd/ds... with the pyloric

valve... the banana stomach or whatever.

I appreciate all of you who freaked out either politely are not...

but sent me messages of concern. I hope to answer you each

personally.
