I don't think I started Ross on the supplements before hand, because I didn't know you were suppose to. Ross had little bumps on his arms and legs. They are gone now. He also started talking a bit more about 6 wks later. I also take the EFA's in gelcap form. I love it for my dry skin and hands and cuticles. Should it smell like a combination of mildew and turpentine? Yuck this stuff stinks.
