I hope all goes well with your first visit and that you will find a friendly, knowledgeable lung man. But you know if you aren't happy, there are other qualified doctors near you. Take care of yourself and I'll be looking to hear some news. As i'll be traveling down to tomorrow for the Celtic Fest, I may not have access to a computer link as often as here, but I'll check in when I can and see if you have posted. Take care. Oh yes, notice I typed in blue like Mamasher? Since we are going to use blue for our color, I may start emailing to everyone in blue all the time. What do you think? Guest guest
BJ....oh don't give up! Just take it one day at a time and leave the earrings out! I know what you mean tho' I don't dress the way I used to either. We do get sick and tired of being sick and tired. Me too BJ. Could it be your meds that are making you sleepy/tired? Keep on keepin' on friend. MamaSher; 71, IPF 3-2006, OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Re: Definition Bruce, Dyanne and Bob, Yes I will be totally outraged if I die of something other than my lungs playing out. All the basis are covered as far as I know. The treadmill gets exercised daily, and I am known now as Uncle Nut or Nut Man, hopefully because I love raw nuts and fruits. Tyty Nursery will be sending 10 trees here, 6 of which are pecan trees. This should have happened 4 years ago, and now that I am as old as I have ever been, who knows if the pecan trees will bare before I cross the bar. When I read "end-stage" on my biopsy report, who would have imagined that I would be writing this 4 years out. Only my pulmo in New Orleans offered any sign of hope. My other 2 pulmonologists could have used the term "terminal" and not had any greater effect than end-stage. I should have stopped to thank my first two pulmos for being politically correct. Just didn't think of it.Jerry/Mississippi/ 54/IPF/dx April 05 > > > >> > > > Anyone know how the term end-stage is typically used in relation> to> > > this> > > > disease? Guest guest
BJ...In my opinion, none of us 'whine'. It just is what it is. Some days we get chicken and some days we get feathers, as my gramma used to say. Things that at one time we 'small' seem so big now, when it's stacked with our daily medical stuff. My legs are still hurting so bad I can barely walk... I'll see the doc on Mon. Keep on keepin' on friend... MamaSher; 71, IPF 3-2006, OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Guest guest
Sher, I was thinking about staying two nights too. Bob will be taking me but he won't go in with me so a second night would give him a place to stay. On the other hand we could go to my daughters and save the price of the second night. I'll figure it out later.Beverley Joy,71, UIP,NSIP 1-09,Diabetes,Sjogren's,Fibromyalgia Idaho From: Sher Bauman <bofus6 (AT) verizon (DOT) net>Subject: Re: Echocardiogram ResultsTo: Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. comDate: Saturday, September 26, 2009, 10:03 AM Me again BJ... I'm sorry to read about the PH and the 'mild to moderate something' too. Good news that the lump will be watched. I'll sure try and encourage you to find a new Dr. Especially at the urging of your GP. I do know how tiring it is to seek out a new Dr. In fact, I just did and will see him on Monday regarding the side effects of a bladder infection (that I'm thinking is not totally cured). Let's do what we can while we are stronger than wait until we are weaker. Get the best care we can find and have it in place for the 'rainy days'. I'm not absolutely thrilled with my pulmodude but I know he gives me good care. He just doesn't have the 'bedside manner' I would like. I'm anxious to see Dr. Raghu and get his information. Let's keep on keepin' on... MamaSher; 71, IPF 3-2006, OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Re: Echocardiogram R
