Guest guest
Oh good, it wasn't just me. I tried that and thought, " Yuck, this stuff is supposed to be good. " It was very bitter and strong. Even the label says something like it is an extra mild sweet sorghum, not like the other bitter kinds. I tried two recipes and then adding just a small amount, but you could still tell. I threw the rest out. I will try the jowar if I find some. . To quote a 9 yr old friend of my 10 yr old daughter after trying some sorghum choc chip cookies " These taste good " That said, I wish there was an Indian or Pakastani store around because that would probably be cheaper. Guest guest
Wow, , Bob's is the only kind I've ever used and I've been pleased with it. I will try the others you mentioned but I've never had any problems (grainy, black flakes) with Bob's. Thanks for the heads up. H
