Dr Rabkin's price is 12 or $13,000, but don't forget about the hospital,

that's the biggest charge. I don't know what it is, maybe someone who has had

it done there will let you know.

At my consult with Dr. K, he said my incision would only be 4-5 inches

long...not much more than Rabkin's 3 inches for an " open " procedure. In the

end, I'm not sure it matters which you prefer because even if you go with

lap, you may w ind up converted to open. It's all a gamble.

Of course, if Dr. K was comfortable with lap and wanted to do me lap, I'd

probably go for it. :)
