She went to the vet yeaterday for deworming, and I wanted to check because she is scratching a lot, and its not fleas!! The vet said it might be a food allergy, so we are trying to change her onto Science Prescription diet. I mixed it with her regular food, half and half, but of course she wouldn't eat it, so she was hungry, and just sat and barked at me until I gave in (about three hours!)and gave her some more of the regular food. I can't believe I have been outmaneuvered by a 6lb ball of fluff!!! Lol, anyway we are trying again today!! Take care, love Liz __________________________________________________

Guest guest
, Ok, I have to ask. How much did it hurt to get the staples out. I have heard horror stories and just want someone to tell me the truth. Anyone else who wants to chime in please do so. Guest guest
Dora, The staples do not hurt coming out if they are taken out when they are suppose to be. They use a " wire cutter " type tool and the worst part is the sound. LOL I did have one that they forgot to take out and I didnt notice it cuz I was washing with a sponge but the it stared to get sore. It was kinda like in my belly button. That one pinched a little bit. But I cant take pain yes Im a wissey. LOL so dont be afraid. Its all worth it. Guest guest
, It sounds to me like you are doing great. 2 weeks and you are down 24 pounds. Congrats and keep up the good work. Dora in Tennessee Lap/Open RNY 9/20/2004 Vanderbilt Hospital hello all hello everyone hope you are all having a good day. I had surgery on the Aug 2,2004 I didn't have an appetite for about a week in and half. But it came back why I was on my clear fluid and the doc. said that it was good it came back that it meant my stomach was healing up. and told me to start the carnation instant breakfeast the suger free one. Now iam going on three weeks out and I am on full liquid diet and 2 flinstones vits. a day. I usally have about 3oz of tomato soup made with water. about 4teaspoons of cottage cheese. for all day. and yesterday I tried some suger free yogart. I dont know what my current weight is but I just want to lose as much as I can. But I don't want to feel hunger either so about 2teaspoons of cottage cheese fulls me up and i am good to go for about 4-5hours. and I drink my litter of water everyday. not to include what I had with the soup. I don't know if I am doing good or not. I go back and see my doc. on the 31 for another check up and probubly get put on purreed food. thanks for listing. and I enjoy hearing all your comments and suggestions. brandy arick open rny 8-2-04 pre 388 two week post

Guest guest
Mark, that is wonderful news. I'm so glad, Don't worry about being gone. You had your wife to take care of first. Your pancreas is probably responding to the stress you were going through worrying about your wife and now that it's over, the panc is feeling free to let go, basically. I know mine has done similar things to me. So, relax, enjoy your time with your wife, and hopefully the panc will settle down. Hugs to both you and your wife. Guest guest
Thanks for the compliments on the crafts. I love doing this sort of stuff. I've already started on my next project. Beth, Awesome job!!! 10 pounds is great for 3 weeks. Joyce, My " life is a bowl of cherries " look is compliments of Cymbalta. I'm also very happy when around friends and family. It's those times that life really is a bowl of cherries no matter how sickly I may be feeling. > > > I haven't been posting much lately. Life has been pretty busy here. I've been to Pulmonary rehab but, missed last week and this week. Bronchitis has been reaking havoc with my body in addition to the party planning I've been doing. Today has been the first day in 2 weeks without a fever. > > My friend, and I have been planning a Baby Shower for a mutual friend last weekend. I did all the craft work (table runners, painted vases, cookies, etc.) I wouldn't have never finished in time had it not been for . While I was curled up in bed with a fever she came over and cleaned my house. She did all the cooking for the shower as well. > > Billy was a great help too! While I was at the hospital last Tuesday having xrays of my nasty lungs he left work to take our son to the doctor because he called from school sick too.
