Guest guest
That was interesting! Before I had a hyperactive immune system and I was never sick. But after starting to recover from the autism I had periode where I was constantly slimy and coafing. But I have been very little sick. But the last year I have started to get a more " normal " immune system. At least I think. I was yellow before but not so much as I have been the last years.. karianne ASD > > > > > > If your liver function is OK (per the doctor), the only other thing I can think of is are you using a lot of turmeric? (You're probably not, but it is worth asking.) I actually have a topical skin treatment with turmeric in it that tinges my skin yellow, but that washes off after a couple showers. > > > > > > My hands/feet turn orange-y when I eat a lot of squash and carrots. But it doesn't happen quickly (after about a month, I can notice it.) People comment on it, and the doc always says it's fine. > > > > > > > > > Best, Nina in MA > > > > > > > > > > > > ________________________________ > > > From: karianne plener <kannne@> > > > > > > > > > I have ask several times in this group about my yellow skin. Guest guest
Have you ever had your thyroid checked? One of the symptoms (from http://thyroid.about.com/cs/testsforthyroid/a/isityourthyroid_2.htm ): Carotoderma (yellow skin) – this is caused by the inability to convert beta-carotene into vitamin A (you need adequate thyroid hormone to do this) Holly Crohn's SCD 12/01/08 > > > I have ask several times in this group about my yellow skin. Guest guest
I think it was in january when I was more yellow then now. To holly: My TSH is normal but TH4 (or something like that) is 10 at reference it 12, so its a bit low. But it has been that for 10 years.. karianne > > > > > > > > > > > > I have ask several times in this group about my yellow skin.
