Guest guest
qtdeedee24- Welcome aboard! I'm a 38y/o woman with RSS and nope, I didn't need a whole lot of sleep when I was a kid, either. I never napped. I went to bed " late " and woke up " early " and I was still as functional as any other kid. I started to sleep later and later as the teenage years developed...but then again, I think that's pretty normal for a teenager. Incidentally, tyhat trend seems to continue to this very day....please note I'm writing this message at 2 o'clock in the morning <wink. -Sharon- Just an RSS kid who grew up Orlando FL
Guest guest
I think you are correct about the sleeping/growing connection - at least for teenagers. My daughter, who is now 19, slept a lot during her growing period (now she just sleeps a lot because that is what 19 year olds do). Max, who is my RSS child, is 16 and sleeping more and more. He NEVER took naps and would stay up late and get up early over the past 12 years or so. Now he naps frequently and sleeps later. Guess what? He grew about 2cm over the past two weeks!
