Guest guest
I went to Dr. Hares in Michigan and I was very happy with my results. I live close by so I can use the aftercare program and I find it helpful. I do understand not wanting to pay for something you can't use. There is another DS doctor in Michigan. I don't believe he charges a fee. Here is his information from the duodenalswitch web site: J. Scholten, M.D. Phone: 1000 East Paris Street, Suite 246 Grand Rapids, MI 49546 I think some people in this group have used him and could give you better information. You may also want to look at surgeons in Ohio. You could still recover in Michigan with your family. If you want any more information on Dr. Hares and my experience with him, feel free to email me. There are others that don't charge. It would be much less expensive to have it done elsewhere ( New York doesn't charge, don't know which others) and then fly to your parents after the surgery. Just an hour on a plane. Might get it lap elsewhere also. Sheryl
