This is Hello to everybody!

I have been to my 40th Class Reunion since I have done much posting. I have been reading the emails and praying about all that are having such a time and the ones who are doing well too. I love everyone in this group and don't know what I would do without you all. I have only been having what I call small ear flares and nose flares. The most trouble I am having is pain from Fibromyalgia. I went to a pain Dr. who put me on Methadone (?)sp. It is not for me so far as I can tell. It makes me feel real funny and does not do much for the pain unless I take at least 5 mg and that is too much, it makes me so sleepy and I cannot stand the way it makes me feel all gittery. I called his office and I am to go in and see him tomorrow without taking any more.

You all continue to post, and everyone, know that my prayers are with each of you.

Love and Prayers, Lucy

Dawn,

I don't think what is causing me kidney problems is from the RP. I still have not heard from my dr. The man in charge of the lab told me that they found a cyst. Don't know any details as of yet but am hoping to hear from someone on Monday or else.LOL As soon as I learn more I will tell you.

I am 45 and have similar aches and pains as you. I have had RP for several years now and have had the aches and pains then too. I don't think it is all old age. Just my opinion.LOL I think most of us do. You should have seen us all at the get together at Heidi's last year. We all got up like all we were old.LOL

You can whine all you want! You hardly ever do so you deserve a turn now. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way and thanks for always being there for me.

Lots of love

Glenda

Hi Marie Pia, I'm so sorry to hear the children are still sick. Have you

heard any more on the Enbrel? Please give them all a BIG hug for me. Wish

good luck on his exams. Has Ben had any more judo tournaments?

Wish him good luck too if any are coming up. Let them all know I love them

bunches and YOU too. You and your family are always in my thoughts and

prayers

Enjoy your time off...sounds as if you need it. Maybe

you can look for a new doctor while you are off!!

What a jerk! Sounds like my old doctor. Take care,

and hope you start to feel better soon.

Marilyn, you are so right about getting the proper sleep. When I did my

sleep study, they found I only got to stage 2 sleep (there are 4 stages). I

have finally adjusted to the neurontin and am doing really well on it. I

have never slept so well before in my life. Boy, it's like Christmas. LOL

Dawn, fibro is like RP in the fact that we are all so different. Just hang

in there and you will get on the proper meds. I don't use any pain pills

except Ultram and I only use that on a REALLY bad day. It is the only one I

can take that doesn't make me feel drugged. But there are those that can't

take it either. Hang in there. We are all behind you.

Thanks for the encouragement, Dawn. Hope you find

some answers for your fibro. My sister has it so

badly that her doctor put her on morphine. Seems to

me there must be something better than that. You take

care of yourself. Love, squeek

Oh Dawn, if you can coax the rain to come back to OR

I'll love you forever! (probably do that anyway)

They said on the news last night that OR has more

fires than anywhere in the U.S. We really NEED your

rain! I do know what you mean about the

humidity....hard to breathe in that junk.

Take care, Dawn! You are doing a super job on

nagging! I love it.

No, Glenda and I are not in any danger from the fires.

My teenage son is set to go to camp over in the

mountains for highschool camp next month, and there

are fires in that area. They best be out by late

August. My older son and grandsons are due to leave

on vacation this coming Sunday, and they may actually

have to change their plans because of the fires.

Thanks for the offer though. I've always wanted to

see WV! Think up another good reason....I'll talk to

Glenda and we'll be right there.

LOL I think you have about hit them all. I know that some of you are wanting to send cards or flowers to and she was so pooh pooh to that so I told her I was going to send money to the foundation in her name.

Maybe if we all did that it would make her really happy! That way when she gets back she will really have a smile on her face!

Take care and thanks Dawn for keeping us all in line!

Now that sounds like a good reason for a visit! I

think some doctors really need their butts kicked up

between their shoulder blades! Maybe we could borrow

the pointy toed shoes. I'm with Glenda....if I were

rich, I'd love to travel around and meet you

guys....but I'm not rich and I am the world's WORST

traveler too. Take care, and keep nagging. Love,
