Guest guest
Hi Nicky, we give our son Gummi Vites from Trader Joes. It's the only ones that he will take. I don't know about the liquid drops. There is Poly-Vi_Sol, but i don't know if it is GFCF or not Rhonda Calif

Guest guest
This may not solve the problem but when we switched from milk to soy milk in the begining we cut his Milk with soy milk over the course of a few days untill it was all milk sub and he never complained. Try using a very white milk sub like dari free or almond milk-it looks very close. And If all else fails add a bit a sweetner to the milk subs-usually a kid will drink anything sweet enough. Of course if you are fighting yeast to this wont work.f (unknown) > hi guys, > my son has been gluten free for 3weeks now,and we are > about to start the casein free the problem is he wont > drink any thing other than milk not even fruit juice > or water im worried sick about him dehyidrating have > any of you had this problem? ive tried the soya milks > but again he refuses it,will he drink if he gets > thirsty enough? > help!!! > (paranoid mum nicky) > > __________________________________________________ >
Guest guest
nicky, this is what worked for us. add just a little bit of milk substitute to his reg. milk. very gradually add a little more sub. and a little less milk each few days so he doesnt notice the change in taste. eventually he will be drinking more non-dairy sub and less milk. eventually just give him all sub. good luck karen

Guest guest
Janelle, Maybe your girl has a soy problem? Or her tummy ache was from something else? My kids both eat the Toffutti cheese and other products without any reaction. And my older one turns into a maniac at the very least amount of gluten or casein, so we feel pretty comfortable that these products are GFCF. in FL > > Also, got tofutti cheese instead of soymage today. Guest guest
Dawn, I'm so sorry, sounds like your day with the dr was like mine. I waited all day for him to call because of the pain of my kidney infection. finally called the pharmacy at 8pm and he had called in a RX.. Now...how was I suppose to know that???? GEEEZ!! Back to you... I'm having brain fog again. Are you on pred or metho or what?? I can't remember anything any more. You need to stop the flare and you already know that!!! GET the STESSS out of your life. LOL Yeah right! Sorry.... I just want you better. Can you raise your pred or get on some? Your BP needs to come down, but you are probably right and some of it is due to the pain. Geez... I wish I could help. Please don't let this flare go on much longer. know you are in my thoughts and prayers and you get better soon. hugs

Guest guest
HOWDEEEEEE, I am of course sorry you have CF , BUT it is great that they finally have agreed to treat the CF . It seems more clinics should do this. I really feel there are sooooooo many more folks who have CF 7 are nit properly DX . They should be getting meds/treatments-if nothing more that proper diets/exercise, etc NOW. I am glad your started , even at 23 , that is better than some I know who are 43 & 45 being DX.. The gal who is 45 had been quite sick all along too. Your outlook is really good & these lists will help you so very much . It is such a help speaking to folks who have CF or it is in their family ..............ASK away yourself & a big WELCOME to you LOVE & HUGS, grandmomBEV (unknown) hi first of all i don't mind anybody asking me questions, that seems to be the only way i can learn about this, so by all means ask away. right now i feel pretty good, i caught mono about a month ago, i'm in the recovery vase of it now, so i still get tired easily. as far as i know i have no gi problems. they did tell me that i may develop those problems later though. it is my lungs that are affected by it, i have the lungs of an 84yr old & i'm 23. when i was five years old my mom took me to a specialist for failure to thrive. i was five & only weighed 25 lbs. they said i had nesiluff syndrom (it no longer exsists today) and they quite seeing me becuase they thought i would not survive to be six. even though my mom told them i tasted salty & she thought i should be tested. after that it was one doctor passing me off to the next, never doing any tests, i actually scared them. then i was sent to toledo hospital pulminary clinic where they finally diagnosed me. the sweat test showed up postive 3 times but they can't locate the gene and that's where i am now. ------------------------------------------- The opinions and information exchanged on this list should IN NO WAY be construed as medical advice. Guest guest
e, We're here to listen. Time permitting or not. Best wishes to you and your dear . Tina W., mother of 17 wcf (unknown) So I am sitting here anxiously waiting for 's CF doc to call with the results of her sputum test. We are hoping that she comes back negative for MRSA. However, it seems like he must be busy, or perhaps no news is good news? I hate to call and bother him, as I know he is very busy...oh what the heck, thats what he is there for right? So, while I was waiting, I decided to push my computer skills to the max, and created a photo album titled . It looks as though I did it correctly ( miracles never cease). At any rate, I just wanted to say that I wish all who have been sick to getter better soon! Best wishes to all, e, (who seems to be suffering from a time management problem today )
