Guest guest
Hi Brigitte, My son is 13 1/2 months old. When we were transitioning him to solids (baby foods), he also had a lot of problems with refulx/delayed gastric emptying. It continued for about 2 months and then slowly lessened to the point it is now, where he rarely vomits. I also noticed that anytime we tried to increase his calories by adding a pat of melted butter to his food, or if we gave him foods high in fat (i.e., ice cream), the vomitting was worse. But now he can eat ice cream and all kinds of high-fat foods and doesn't vomit. So, I'd say just hang in there for now and hopefully it will improve. - (mom to , 13 1/2 months, 14 1/2 lbs, 27 inches) > > Hi Everyone > > I was just wondering if any of you have experienced the following:- > We have had difficulty in weaning my daughter Bobbi nearly 11 > months old, she is sick on a regular basis (reflux/delayed gastric > emptying?)
