Guest guest
Kim, very interesting, and just one more piece of data. The studies on the use of aromitase inhibitors to halt the rapid bone age advancement are NOT conclusive at this time -- the studies haven't been around long enough. Stanhope basically told me that we had nothing to lose, to try it because of the drug's safety record. But he also said he wasn't 100% sold on whether or not it would halt the rapid progression of the bone age. He wonders if there is something else going on in the RSS/SGA kid besides just the estrogen part (with regards to the bone age advancing). These next couple of conventions, I think, are going to be critical for us parents of pre-adolescents, as so many studies are currently ongoing... I can't wait to hear what Dr. H says about . We should all compare notes after our visits!!! Guest guest
I know this has been discussed a thousand times - what is the difference between aromitase inhibitors and lupron - or is there. Thanks
