That's me!!... well my son that is. I've always felt almost silly saying this to others, especially people not on the list, people w/o autistic children because it sounds so off the wall. But it was a definite steady pattern. And it hasn't happened on the last four infringements, because we've followed those four infringements quickly with something to digest the gluten or casein before it can reach the gut. We bought some papaya enzymes at the HFS... adult dose 3 tablets and give him 1/2 tablet after an infringement. >My child is fully potty trained, yet does this about 3 times a month. I understand totally, my son's been in underwear with less than a handful of accidents for almost 6 months now. He is learning to control himself, and the tantrums are becoming few and far between, and much milder when they do occur. His behavior at his ABA pre-school was consistently troublesome last year but since September has been great! How long's your daughter been on the diet? >I guess I don't understand why she is doing this. Everyone's different, and maybe it's not due to an infringement. I think this is what makes the diet so hard to follow. We need to strive for 100% GFCF, and that's tough to do. I went GFCF with my son for several months to keep him company, and we made our house nearly GFCF for a time as well, hiding things so he couldn't possibly get to them. It's much more relaxed now, and I've been off the diet since the summer with my son's permission! But it's all a process, and keeps changing.
