Guest guest
Hi , It was a good visit overall. A bit frustrating since she was an hour late and then spent a good portion of our visit on the phone (sometimes two calls at once even!), but I feel it was beneficial. She spent a long time looking at Colin's feeding schedule (he is gtube fed) and rearranging feedings to maximize his oral feeds. She wrote a letter to our local feeding team with her proposal for weaning of gtube feeds and briefly looked at his bone age scans. The good news is that he is growing very well with a growth velocity in the 75%ile this past year and he is not on GH. She wants some additional tests run since his bone age has advanced past his chronological age, but wasn't too concerned since he has no signs of adrenarche or insulin resistance. I just left with a page of questions that I didn't even have a chance to ask, but that's how it goes! Colin, Hayden & Grant
