Marilyn,After having the experience of eating off banana leaves several times, I will say that it is a great way to serve food/eat (especially for messy toddlers) and biodegradable too! : ) The only downside is that you must be very careful to clean them well and make sure no pesticides have been used on them.AmeliaTo:

Good grief! At the rate they're going, we'll be on a raw diet, eating off

banana leaves because everything else is dangerous. And then they'll find

a problem with both raw food AND banana leaves!
