Guest guest
The diets are similar but different. The bone broth is definitely a good thing. The DCCC mentioned in BTVC is nutritious and also helps with D. The book is a beginning. I've learned on this board to implement the diet and find what works for me. One has to follow SCD strictly, but if a recipe or idea from other sources is legal, then that is OK. The bone broth made legally is very helpful. Don't mix the diets though. Some things from GAPS are not legal on SCD. PJ > > I read the BTVC book today - the initial diet seems so different than GAPS. Guest guest
BTVC does not necessarily emphasize bone broth but you sure do find it when you click on Enhanced SCD on pecanbread.com and also this link: http://pecanbread.com/p/how/brothinfo.html DarleneIntestinal Dysbiosis/CFSSCD 10 weeks To: BTVC-SCD Sent: Thu, April 29, 2010 11:08:07 AMSubject: Re: Cheesecake vs. knuckle broth At 11:55 PM 4/28/2010, you wrote: I read the BTVC book today - the initial diet seems so different than GAPS.
