Guest guest
Hi Jane, I remember that age with , and I think we experienced a lot of ups and downs too. I wouldn't be too concerned unless she kept up the downward trend. Like you said, she's more active, and has been outside running around burning calories. Could it be that she's eating less often because you're outside?? I know that when we're trapped inside during the winter, we snack much more often. ( Much to the dismay of my waistline!!) When we're busy outside, away from the kitchen, during the summer, we don't think about eating as often! Good thing for me, but not necessarily for our kids! LOL When was the last time her Periactin dose was checked?? Could it need to be increased??? We aren't able to use Periactin as is 100% g-tube fed, but I know that dosage adjustments aren't uncommon. Hope this helps! Hugs for you both! Pat (g-ma to , RSS, 3 yrs 4 months old, 23#, 33 " , G-tube, GHT)
