Bruce, I never knew anything about them until this board and my mothers final illness. And remembering mother, hers didn't have a humidifier either!Roxanne, 59, South Carolina

It's so odd how things to vary by location and by doctor. I've known

many many CPAP/BiPAP users here and never known one to not be given a

humidifier at the same time they get the equipment. So, I sometimes

forget to even ask that question, since here it is taken for granted.

Yes, the machine itself is very quiet.  Its my breathing I can hear and it seems to be roaring...Psh--whwww...psh--whwww....Roxanne, 59, South Carolina
