(LOL) I am not sure if it is gfcf at all (and I doubt it) but what about Mylicon drops? they are for gas relief for infants. I guess you'd just increase the dosage...But I don't know if it is gfcf. maybe you could read the label in the store? It comes in a greenish little box with a baby on top. I remember I used it on al;l three of my kids when they were little. I am not sure if it relieves or if it makes them ...pass gas faster ) Hope this helps, really. Guest guest
My son has had this problem on and off. Since we retested his stool and found he has a different type of yeast overgrowth, not candida, and began treating that, the gas has just about disappeared. You may want to have him tested. Guest guest
and other gas advisors, I don't have any advice, but you have all made my morning!!! How funny. I have been up since 3 AM as my son has a sleep deprived EEG this afternoon. I guess I am finding little things funny. Hope you get it figured out. :-) Janelle
Guest guest
I do believe that mylecon WAS mentioned by man I spoke with about motrin/tylenol as being gf at least, I didn't pursue it at the time-The number for manufacturer (McNeil) is to confirm. They were very nice and test batches apparently any time ingredients change for presence of gluten. The gas questions have me chuckling! Guest guest
With one of my kids eating corn was really bad. She would also get the runs frequently though. My DH is a super-stinky guy sometimes, but he is proud of himself and doesn't want to change. We have noticed that a lot of types of veggies and eggs makes him worse. His favorite meal (ramen with scrambled eggs in it) makes him really bad. My youngest was a super-stinky until she went gluten, casein, corn free, dye free and preservative free. The kids are also reduced sugar, so it could also be a yeast thing too. > * > I hope someone out there knows the answer - I need a GFCF remedy for LJs > gas explosions.
