I had heard talc should not be used around babies since it can be

inhaled and cause problems in the lungs. You might want to check this

out. Heat rash can usually be treated with hydrocortizone cream (rub

in, let dry replace band). Keep your baby cooler too if possible, and

dry the head if it is sweaty. As for moleskin it is a soft fabric that

can be placed inside the band to stop the band from rubbing in a

certain area (ask your ortho).
