I'm sorry to read that you're struggling with vertigo again. I'm interested in tyour description of the crystals in the inner ear.....you may remember that I've been struck with Sudden Onset Sensorineural Hearing Deficit in my left ear... a mysterious Inner ear problem. Poor balance is one of the outcomes for me... I tend to keep falling if I bend in any direction & now have a tendency to 'Lurch'...anyways the point of interest for you could be that I've been put on a low salt diet & given tablets (Hygroton) to drag the Salt out of my inner ear!

Apparently salt levels can build up in the Inner Ear & cause balance problems...I'm wondering if this could be a factor in your Vertigo. Are your crystals made of salt & could it be that you have a Salt imbalance contributing to the movement of the little devils!

When I remarked to my ENT bloke that my Serum Sodium levels were at the lower end of the Normal range he said that the salt build-up in the inner ear was not connected to Serum Salt levels!
