Guest guest
Is the typical frozen type Turkey OK ( ie Butterball) or is it best to stick with a fresh Turkey for Thanksgiving?? Thanks, Annette
Guest guest
I beleive that fresh turkeys are better because frozen turkeys (and chicken too) have some kind of solution put on them which I do not trust as being gfcf safe. Butterball is not good because it is injected with butter to keep it moist. I just go with a fresh bird and baste it with Nucoa margarine (you could use any gfcf margarine, or gfcf broth for basting) and it always turns out plenty moist. Happy Thanksgiving!!
