Guest guest
Geeta , When I first started using the spirometer I could only get it to 500. After several months of using it twice a day I finally got it to 100 and then 1,500. I stopped using it for awhile and went back down to 1000, so I think using it on a regular basis really helps. My pulmonologists suggest taking the deepest breath that you can with it and then holding the air in for a count of 5 , then slowly releasing it ( I usually try for a count of 7 or 8). I do it five times, taking a small break in between each set. Hope this helps. R. (53) Sarcoid/PF 3/2006 Carlsbad, California
