Guest guest
Mike what Bruce is true to a point. Shands is actually on the UF campus. Most of the patients I see are young to middle age.I love the place and the Dr's. I think I have told you this before but it's true. Shands has just started a clinic just for IPF, PF. I forget the Dr's name. it is on the web site. My daughter ask Dr. Antony my last visit if they have a lot of pf, ipf patents she said sadly hundreds. I just hated hearing thatI am such a cry baby anymore. never used to be.. Kathy have you seen the new IPF Doctor yet? Love & Prayers, Peggy Florida, IPF/UIP 2004"I believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet, when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly." Mike Peggy hasn't spoken yet but she loves Shands and thats for someone who hates hospitals and doctors in general. One place I would say Shands probably stands out is in general the way they would look out for and treat seniors as I would say they are probably more respectful to seniors and more use to dealing with all their problems simply because of the demographics of their patients. This includes transplants to older persons as well. > > > > > > Hi yall, > > > My stats still have not leveled off so I now find myself on > > oxygen 24/7.
