We gave my daughter (15 mos.) Zithromax for an bacterial infection and she did fine with that one. My son had a huge regression when I gave him Amoxicillan. Have you tried to give the drops (I forgot what they're called but they numb the inside of the ear) and wait it out. My daughter had a really bad ear infection and we gave the drops and waited it out and sure enough it went away on its own without antibiotics and she hasn't had another one since. If you'd like, I can give you Dr. Shaw's guidelines for an ear infection. I hope she gets better quick and at least make sure you give her probiotics after the antibiotic and I always ask my Dr. to give me Nystatin to take after. Guest guest
My 5 year old highly sensitive son started on Augmentin Friday for a bladder infection. The prescription was written for amoxcillan, but I asked for the GFCF, no colors or additives, so after a phone call to the doctor the pharmacy mixed augmentin. So far so good. I'm giving him lots of extra vitamin C and acidophilous. Good luck. Guest guest
, I believe that a typical dose is about a billon units. gets this at least 3 times a day. The only side effect I'm aware of iis that too much could cause diarriha. I have no basis for giving this amount. If someone has a resaon to give a specific amount I would like to know also. Guest guest
Dont give him augmentin, my daughter has been shown her stereotypic behaviour after the pediatrician gave her augmentin. She's showing no reaction to zitromac, please gave her probio gold while you gave her antibiotics regards > > > My 13 month old is going to see the pediatrician later today for a >suspected > > ear infection.
