Guest guest
Hi Ladies, My sister and niece both had to have their bladders tied up dueto heavy lifting and straining. A lot of women just don't realize we are now made for heavy lifting.Anyhow, GUESS WHATTTT.... I am getting a massage in about 30 min..WAAAA WHOOOOOOOOO.. yep, hospice is sending her out.. life is GOOD.Love, Peggy ;> Re: tip -- stress incontinence Pink Joyce,It is usually the coughing and of course that is part of the whole 'wonderful part of womanhood' we all get sold, but apparently it is made worse by lack of oxygen, guessing it has something to do with nerve endings as mine got worse when my breathing worsened and the neuropathy from the diabetes started to show up. Such is life...now whenever my sister sends me something funny she always says go pee first LOLDyane Phoenix ipf 02> >> > I don't know about anyone else, but i have noticed that an increase in> stress incontinence is a sign that something is doing with my lungs --> usually my cough is harder> >> > is it the decrease in prednisone?> > or am i getting a cold?> >> > rhetorical questions, don't expect answers> >> > Jerry has also noticed an increase in my cough recently> >> >> > Pink Joyce R (IPF 3/06) IFA 5/09 Pennsylvania> > Donate Life Listed 1/09 Inactive 4/09> > www.transplantfund. org> >> > > > > > > > > __________________________________________________>
Guest guest
Guys. I am pirtically paralyzedin my right leg, a car accident, broke my let. My Dr. sent me to a medical supply store, I got a walker with wheels and a little compartment. medicare wouldn't pay for all of it and it ended costing me 64 dollars. Now that I have been dx with this helps a lot getting around. I don't have to carry my tank, which can be a pain. Because my my leg my I have to use more oxygen. Check into a walker IT WORKS Soulliere & nbsp; To: Breathe-Support Sent: Wed, November 18, 2009 10:53:38 AMSubject: Re: tip -- stress incontinence Beth, I know we had talked about this once before, I wish I had more info but it was something a doctor told my mom. I know my problem was more with standing up and not being able to hold my urine. That has improved a lot thank god but still happens. I guess I need to go see my gyn or a urologist but one more doctors apt this year and I think I will throw up LOLDyane Phoenix ipf 02> >>> >> I don't know about anyone else, but i have noticed that an increase in> >stress incontinence is a sign that something is doing with my lungs --> >usually my cough is harder> >>> >> is it the decrease in prednisone?> >> or am i getting a cold?> >>> >> rhetorical questions, don't expect answers> >>> >> Jerry has also noticed an increase in my cough recently> >>> >>> >> Pink Joyce R (IPF 3/06) IFA 5/09 Pennsylvania> >> Donate Life Listed 1/09 Inactive 4/09> >> www.transplantfund. org> >>> >> > > ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ __>
Guest guest
I have all those things.........love the shower chair, I'm 68 and know I will be using these for a long time. Soulliere & nbsp; To: Breathe-Support Sent: Wed, November 18, 2009 3:10:07 PMSubject: Re: tip -- stress incontinence -I got a walker when I got my knee replaced. I also got the shower stool and the long handled picker-upper and shoe horn. I love them. I did not think I would need to use them the rest of my life, but it was kinda nice having them. I also have a heavy duty cane that I will use occasionally. It all helps. I did not encounter shortness of breath until 25 days after my knee replacement. Since then I have been on the whirlwind tour of learning just what I have and how to deal with it. The accoutrements have been really helpful and were purchased through the rehab clinic. I also bought some elastic resistance bands for exercising. I did have to buy my walker as well, but with my husband and I in our 60s and aging, I figure one or both of us can use these gadgets.Stefani 61 year old UtahnILD 2/2006, NSIP (fibrotic) 10/2009, Diabetes II 2/2006, Sleep Apnea 4/2009> > >>> > >> I don't know about anyone else, but i have noticed that an increase in> > >stress incontinence is a sign that something is doing with my lungs --> > >usually my cough is harder> > >>> > >> is it the decrease in prednisone?> > >> or am i getting a cold?> > >>> > >> rhetorical questions, don't expect answers> > >>> > >> Jerry has also noticed an increase in my cough recently> > >>> > >>> > >> Pink Joyce R (IPF 3/06) IFA 5/09 Pennsylvania> > >> Donate Life Listed 1/09 Inactive 4/09> > >> www.transplantfund. org> > >>> > >> > > > > ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ __> >
