Guest guest
Thanks for the great idea. Do you have any worries about cross- contamination? I'm going to have to stop at an asian market. I just had to throw away some of that expensive pasta because I cooked too much and it sat too long!!! Kim > > > Hi, > > > > > > My son is four y.o. and is in preschool. Guest guest
* Are there chances of cross contamination with this? I went into one Asian store here and they had no idea what I meant so I didn't buy anything * On Mon, 19 Nov 2001 20:44:41 -0000 robin@... writes: > Rice pasta at a HFS is very expensive... find a local asian market. > > I get 1 lb of rice pasta for $0.80 - same price as regular pasta!!! > > Robin ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Guest guest
Just be careful. I bought some cheap rice pasta at the asian market and next thing I knew, my entire pantry was infested wtih moths!!!! It was disgusting. You wouldn't believe how much food I threw away. UG. I still buy it but I put the bags in ziploc bags and make sure nothing hatches. ICK. Guest guest
This happened to me when I bought some Near East couscous from the local grocery. It took forever to get rid of them. > > > * > > Are there chances of cross contamination with this?
