Guest guest
Hi , You said: >Dr. Byrnes suffered a stroke on June 10, 2004 and >passed away on Thursday June 17th, 2004. Maybe the stroke was a >complication of the AIDS? Or that some people in this world are >still afraid of AIDS and if they knew he died of AIDS they >wouldn't support his work? I stand corrected; I spoke from memory of articles I read months ago. The important issue is that AIDs and its associated problems were the principle causes leading to his death. Vegans, for their propaganda reasons, are trying to link diet to his death which is incorrect. >But wanted to let you know that the evil vegetarians weren't the >ones saying it --it is Byrnes own supporters. I have visited several vegan blogs that have frequently used his death as ammunition for criticizing his diet. The exact same thing happened to Dr. Atkins when he died shortly after falling on ice a year ago. It is unfortunate that some wish to exploit the life works of these pioneers. The success of Atkins double blind study conducted by Duke University has many vegan diet specialists scrambling for any piece of dirt, even if distorted, to maintain their standing and livelihood. The book below has been quoted a lot in the past few weeks: > " Diet and Heart Disease: It's Not What You Think " by >Byrnes I thought you would like to know that the author, >Byrnes, died last June (2004) of a stroke.
