Guest guest
I use Karyn Seroussi's gfcf playdough recipe on a regular basis. I reduce the amount of oil required by about half, otherwise, mine turns out too greasy. Plus, I use my food processor. I mix the dry ingredients well first, then add the liquids and coloring. When adding the boiling water, make sure it is just that -- boiling -- and add it a little at a time (I do 1/4 cups), then blend for a minute, then add more, etc. There are some days when it cakes up and is too dry -- I just keep adding the boiling water by the tablespoon-full when this happens, and keep blending. When the dough turns into a " ball " in the processor, I turn off the blender and remove it, letting it cool off for about 5 minutes before kneading. Store in a ziploc plastic bag in the fridge, lasts forever. Our preschool teacher sets a color theme for each month, so I only get to have this playdough-making " fun " every few weeks. -BJ

Guest guest
And one more thing . . . I've been MUCH more successful with the playdough recipe than any of the GFCF bread recipes I've tried, LOL!!! -BJ

Guest guest
BJ Thanks! I'll try the recipe again. I agree about the oil-it took a few times playing with it to get rid of some, although the kids thought it was great. I'm with you on the bread-too much brain damage for me to try to bake anymore.LOL Kathy in Denver
