Guest guest
Um, I'm down for nutmilk, but then don't I have to make it myself? Homemade nutmilk is so unbelievably out of my league right now!!Thanks Marilyn.Seriously though, can someone give me a tip on what the right thing is to buy to make yogurt if I don't have an oven light, or what the options are? Thanks!!On Sun, Apr 11, 2010 at 3:16 AM, Wizop Marilyn L. Alm wrote: At 01:56 AM 4/11/2010, you wrote: I dunno. Guest guest
Um, question please. I read about the Yogourmet there, and it says > SCD and then it also says whoopee, it makes the yoghurt in 4.5 > hours. Does it have a temperature gauge so we can make it slower, our way? > , you just leave it plugged in for the 24 hours instead of 4.5. Some people find the newer models of yogurmet to heat up to 120 as it continues to heat and they just purchase a dimmer switch to control the temperature. The Yogourmet makes ordinary yogurt in 4.5 hours. It doesn't have a temperature gauge. I have two Yogourmets and make 24 hour yogurt all the time. Some people find that they need a dimmer switch. I don't. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
Guest guest
Thanks guys, I'm too out of it to be successfully messing with lightbulbs, boxes, and temperatures right now so I put in a order for the yogourmet. what's a dimmer switch? and where do I get one? (and how do i make it work?) Thanks a lot!! Um, question please. I read about the Yogourmet there, and it says > SCD and then it also says whoopee, it makes the yoghurt in 4.5 > hours. Guest guest
Thank you, I tend to forget that a dimmer switch could be used with a yoghurt maker. I think we have one around here somewhere, even. Many people buy a dimmer switch to keep the temp lower.
