Guest guest
I am very nervous at what my reaction will be when they put the band on her. I have gotten better about the idea of it (I don't tear up when I talk about it). I know its the best for her, its my issue with it that I need to work on. Being 4 months pregnant is not helping cause my hormones are racing. Any words of advice will help greatly. I also need advice on decorating the band. In past posts I've read that rub-ons are better than stickers, is that true? I also read that modge podge or no- chip clear nail polish is good for a top coat. I've also heard that both of those leave a bad odor and that the fumes might harm her. I am getting overwhelmed with all the methods. What is the best way to decorate the band? Guest guest
I found that clear backed stickers worked the best. They were easy to remove and didn't leave any paper residue. I used clear nail polish to cover them so they would last longer. After the nail polish was dry it didn't leave any fumes. Good luck with the new band! Guest guest
Tearing up is not a bad reaction, I did both when they put my daughter into it and when they graduated her! As for the rub ons, I found that they rubbed right off and didn't last more that 2 days. We used scrapbook stickers with the clear backing. I also found that you can't have larger round stickers, or too pointy ones. It's all trial and error. Enjoy the decorating, I actually miss it! Good luck! DOC Band Grad she was in it for 17 weeks. Guest guest
Even if I put modgepodge over the rub-ons, they'll rub off?
