Guest guest
Today I went to my PCP for the first time since prior to surgery. I have a bad cold, so it wasn't anything serious that I was seeing him for. When he walked into the exam room he gave me a funny look. I then told him that I finally had my surgery. He then laughed and said that he hadn't recognized me at all. He looked at my weight the last time I was in and my current weight (-60 lbs.) and he was thrilled for me. He asked me all kinds of questions about my recovery and such. He was very happy for me and was very supportive in my decision for surgery. I know he is very much into conservative medicine, so it was great to hear his support of my surgery. His parting words were something to the affect that he thought it was great that I finally found something to work for me. Too bad I feel so lousy from this cold (sinus & upper respitory infection).
