Guest guest
Hi all, I just wanted to jump on here to say hi. I am still without a computer, but Moms is back up and running, so I may be able to get on every so often now. ANYWAY...... is doing pretty well. He is now 2 years, 8 months old. He weighs 20 lbs. 7 oz. and is 31 " tall. He is still only gaining about 2 ounces a week, despite being fed 800 cc's a day through his j tube. He is eating a little by mouth, but not a lot. Since we have increased his tube feed, he is less interested now. He still struggles with the reflux issues, but takes it all so well. He got tubes placed in both ears on January 13, 2004 and has done very well soince. His ear infections were almost back to back, so I got the tubes placed before we damaged his hearing. He did very well with the procedure and has had no drainage or any negative results. He is still very congested, and at times even the breathing treatments don't work, but atleast he hasn't had an ear infection since the tubes were placed. I miss you all so much, and I feel like I have missed out on a lot of info. I still talk to Jodie Cals by phone.....thank God. Atleast I still have that connection. I miss checking the board on a daily basis and seeing how everyone is doing. I hope all of you are doing well, and that I will be able to talk on here more often. If you all want to, you can email my yahoo account, or bbrothers @core.com. That is moms email address. I would love to hear from you and see how everyone is doing. I think of you all often. And for all the new people on here......you have found a wonderful and informative group of people. They got me through a lot of tough times! What a blessing this site is. ) Talk soon, Jodi R. 2y, 8m 20 lbs. 7 oz., 31 "
