yes. i am sure a reg. ped. could test for parasites. My son is non-verbal so

he never complained about the giardia but I've heard it causes itchiness and

diarhrea. you can get it from swimming in a lake or a pool where another

child has pooped.

I would consider enzymes. I use the enzymes from this url

They help my son tolerate food items that he would otherwise not

tolerate. That way, you don't have to remove the juice, you can try

enzymes first and see if that helps him.

How do you test for parasites? Is this something a regular

pediatrician could do? What are the signs other than loose stools?

The more info. I have, the more likely I can get my HMO doctor to

have the insurance pay for it. Though she is a wonderful

pediatrician and I wouldn't ever change, she has an " autism expert " -

BJ Freeman that is telling her stuff like the diet does not help. I

am trying to work with the system to get things paid for but this

just makes it more difficult.
