Guest guest
hi mary Liam has been on growth hormone for 2 months now, we have not measured him, because I get different readings everytime i try, however he has grown out of his shoes and has gone from size 0 to size 1 clothes. We go to our growth clinic at the end of Feb, stay tuned for 3 month height !!! We did not really talk to Liam about the shots,we did talk about medicine that would make him grow and he started saying he didnt want to grow, he was a little boy, so I guess, it wasnt really something to go into with him he just doesnt understand. I didnt want him to think he had to grow to be normal, he hasnt got a hang up about his size, so why make one. Do you know what i mean? The growth clinic was great, the gave Liam a dragon called spot, Liam gives spot an injection everynight after his shot(with the lid on) we pick a different spot(Spots) back everynight. Liam hate seeing the needle come out but as soon as its done he has Spot to focus on, and his shot is forgotten. I couldnt believe how well this worked. As for sites of shots, we alternate between thighs and bottom, we could of used arms but havent yet, same reasons as you, not much fat. Love the way all your boys are getting involved, as for giving the shots, Im sure you will be fine, look at everything else youve done in the past couple of years. Take care, let us know how he goes Jody(mum to Liam and cameron) > > Howdy Folks! > > Well, the big day is just around the corner.
