Take care, > H, mommy to 3 1/2 yrs, PDD; and 2 yrs, NT Just a note. My kids react to sunflower seeds. Fritos are made with sunflower oil. Lays are made with cottonseed oil. My kids are okay with Lays, but not with Fritos. I asked on another message board about a substitute for Fritos. Person told me Bearitos from the HFS. They are made with safflower oil. My kids tolerate these okay. Dana
Guest guest
Lays Original and Ruffles Original are made in a facility dedicated strictly to these products, so there is no chance of cross contamination. Cross contamination occurs in facilities that use the same machinery for manufacturing many different products and flavors, but wash the lines between batches. The problem can occur when lines are not washed thoroughly. There is no chance for this when you purchase products that have dedicated lines.
