Guest guest
<< weight was either stable or yo-yoing-up a lb., down a lb.. Was in Penn Station last week, bought a Krispy Kreme, and lost 8 lb. last week. Go figure. I think your letter should be posted once a month just to remind us that the weight WILL come off if we just hang in and don't despair. Guest guest
Will do, Lizbeth. Just went through the same thing for the past month;weight was either stable or yo-yoing-up a lb., down a lb.. Was in Penn Station last week, bought a Krispy Kreme, and lost 8 lb. last week. Go figure. I think your letter should be posted once a month just to remind us that the weight WILL come off if we just hang in and don't despair. Marcia Musings Hey Kids, Well I went and weighed myself today to see if I was going to stay at 199 or bounce back up to 200. I weighed in at 198 which is cool. Of course that started me thinking...Not two long ago I was on the plateau from hell it lasted 4 weeks. For 4 weeks I went up and down the same 2 pounds. I excersized, I drank tons of water, I ate only protein, I tried a donut. I tried hight fat, I tried low fat. I begged and pleaded with the scale. I made promises to the scale (hangs head in shame . I walked more. Basically I did everything I could to get rid of those two pounds and they I didnt budge. Now during this time my measurements were going consistenly down, but the weight stayed the same. So what I am trying to say is that plateaus happen. Some people plateau for a week, some for 2 or some for a month like I did. So now that I know plateaus happen I hope that I can better mentally equip myself for the next one. Having said all that can someone please save this email and send it to me a month from now when I star Lisbeth ---------------------------------

Guest guest
You and me both its been at least 6 years since I was under 200. Soon it will be your turn and when it is I will be here screaming WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO when you hit below 200! *hugs* Lisbeth L Barnum wrote: How wonderful for you. I haven't seen below 220 in so long I don't even remember what the size looks like. I must have been 18 or so. I get so excited for my time for surgery when I read things like this. I can almost feel the excitement bubbling over you when the scale said less instead of the expected 200. What a great day. Oh, why do the days go by so slow?
